Slavery Resistance 

During the years of 1886 and so on, over 600,000 africans were imported to Cuba. They had to cross the Atlantic, which was then called, "The Atlantic Slave Trade". In the process ton of thousands died because the crossing was so brutal. Throughout the time in Cuba they was forced to work in sugarcanes field and crops plantation. The time of slavery in Cuba, they was treated Ruthless,Worthless and Harsh. A lot got fed up and tired they decided to resistance. How did they do this? you might ask. They started to destroy tools, poision water supply. Mostly, slaves came together and started a rebellion.  Even others got so angry violent, they killed the plantation owners.

Afro + Cuba Music & Dance

A lot of children and adults from Cuba doesn't even know the truth about there history of music and dance. Most songs and beats and rhythm came from west Africa. From where most slaves were imported from. "Rumba" is a dance and type of music and dance that goes along with it. . This is a big representation of Cuba´s Africa.
